Kathy Sautter is a seasoned public and media relations professional hailing from Buffalo, NY. While her day job certainly keeps her busy, she enjoys spending her downtime singing professionally (having won a Grammy with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus), traveling internationally (picture is from the high peaks in the Swiss Alps), and spending time with friends and family. She decided to combine her love for cats and her creative talents to pen her first children's book, Marmalade and Mittens Get a Marshmallow, after the real life antics of her two beloved cats, Waffles and Klondike. She and her husband, Nick, share their home with these loveable two in Lancaster, NY.
Thank you for providing feedback on Marmalade and Mittens. I'm interested in hearing your constructive advice on my first book as I may share other adventures of these two fun felines in the future! Reviews can also be left on Goodreads.com. Cheers!
My journey with writing really began in middle and high school when a few of my English teachers took me under their wing and encouraged me to pursue one of my passions. Two in particular even wrote words of encouragement that I tucked away (see inset) in hopes one day I'd put pen to paper. Never did I think it would be a children's book (as I used to write murder/mystery), but when inspiration strikes, you roll with it! A big note of gratitude is extended to my teachers as well as my parents who always told me to keep writing.
